What is Thai Yoga Massage

Thai yoga massage is an ancient form of therapeutic bodywork which combines acupressure and applied yoga stretching. It is a full body therapy which which relieves muscular tension, calms the nervous system and balances energy in the body. Treatments are carried out on a mat and cushioning on the floor. You are asked to wear comfortable clothing to receive the treatment that you can move easily in. It is a great treatment to promote general wellbeing, and can be particularly benefits for a number of ailments and health conditions including back and shoulder pain, headaches, stress, insomnia and digestive issues. It is suitable during the second and third trimester for pregnant women.

Hannah's approach draws on her knowledge of a broad range of techniques from this ancient practice, and is informed by her ongoing studies and exploration of yoga, meditation, anatomy and movement practices.  Hannah is also a practicing yoga teacher and has over a decade of experience working in neurological and mental health charities.

When can I get a Thai Yoga Massage?

Thai Yoga Massage is like a mini workout, which compresses and stretches the body, so it is not advised to get one after an intense workout.

We also recommend to choose a day when you won't be hitting the gym for at least 24 hours for the body to recover properly.

Try to give your body 2 hours to digest any food before attending the session.

Please discuss with Hannah any medical conditions or injuries you may have before attending.
