Returning to the studio during COVID19

We are so excited to be able to teach real people in a real studio again! But first, we want to take the time to ensure our customers know how you can feel safe with us. There will be of course changes which might change your normal routine or alter the way you have always visited us, but these changes have all been very carefully considered by our team and our number one goal at the moment, is to make sure that everyone feels safe and welcome to enjoy our space.

DO NOT come to Yonder if:

You or anyone in your household has symptoms of COVID-19, or come in to contact with anyone with symptoms of COVID-19.

*symptoms include; new continuous cough, high temperature, anosmia (loss of sense of taste/smell)

If you have a confirmed case of COVID-19, or come in to contact with anyone with a confirmed case of COVID-19.

  2. If you have been contacted by the government and told to self isolate because you are in the high risk category.

  3. If you have been told you need to isolate after travelling abroad.

Our New Rules and Guidance

Terms & Conditions

Please take a moment to read our new Terms & Conditions 

All existing customers will need to read and accept our new Liability Waiver at reception upon their first visit back.

Please be aware your data may be shared with NHS Test and Trace in the event of a COVID-19 outbreak. 

Limited Capacity

  • We have a reduced capacity of 8 students per class

  • We also have a reduced centre wide capacity to allow social distancing in the centre

  • Due to our capacity, no customers will be allowed to float in the building. Please arrive no earlier than 10 minutes for your class or you will need to wait outside

  • Yoga students will have to queue outside while adhering to social distancing rules. If you are running late for your class, don't worry, we will have staff popping out every few minutes before class to check if you are in the queue.

  • We are running on a limited timetable to allow enough time between classes for sufficient cleaning

Social Distancing

  • Customers waiting outside must adhere to the 2m rule

  • In the studio, there will be markings on the floor for mats which are 2m apart

  • Teachers are encouraged to abstain from manual adjustment unless both the customer and teacher has verbally agreed that they are comfortable beforehand

  • To avoid pinch points in our studio entry point, we ask that customers do not take their belongings into the studio or corridor but rather lock them in the lockers provided outside the studio door.

Infrastructure

  • The changing rooms and shower facilities will be closed, so please turn up ready for your session.

  • The toilets will remain open but with a capacity of 1 person at a time. 

  • Perspex screens have been installed at reception to protect staff and customers

  • The doors to the studio will be propped open at all times, and we ask that only the teachers and staff opens and closes them.

  • We have a top-quality air filtration system which will be on all the time.

Booking

  • We currently only accept prebooked admission.We are currently not accepting payment via reception.

  • Customers who do walk-in will be directed to scan a QR code and asked to complete the booking outside of the centre before returning.

  • We are taking on new members however we have a new payment structure. For more information click here

  • There will be a 2 strike policy for no-shows (missing the class without prior cancellation). Members who accrue more than 2 no-shows a month will automatically be charged £2.50

  • Customers are still able to book a variety of classes online

Hygiene

  • Customers are required to wash/sanitise their hands entering and exiting any area in Yonder using the hand sanitiser stations provided.

  • Customers are asked to bring their own equipment when possible. We have mats available on a rotational system, but these are limited. Customers who use a mat will need to clean their mat after use. Place the mat in the cubby provided outside the studio for further deep cleaning by staff. 

  • Customers are required to wear a facemask in the centre, but not required when they are standing on the mat.

  • Staff are required to clean the studio after each class

Staffing 

  • We are reducing the number of staff in the building and sticking to bubble teams.

  • Staff on reception have one workstation each situated 2m away from eachother. 

  • The staff have had specific COVID training including, cleaning, policy training, fire safety and first aid.

  • Staff are required to wear specific PPE for all cleaning and safety related tasks 

  • The staff have to follow the government guidelines regarding their own health
